Annual Reunion 2025
Our Annual Reunion, which we have at the end of every season, will take place at the Oblate House of Retreat, Inchicore, Dublin, on Sunday, October 12 starting with Mass at 2:00pm. We hope that as many as possible of you will attend.
For those travelling by public transport, the number 13 bus stops opposite the entrance to the Oblates, on Tyrconnell Road. If you are taking the Luas, then get off at the Blackhorse stop (RED LINE) and after crossing over the canal, the Oblates are about 500m along on the left-hand side.

Irish Hospitalité AGM
The date of our AGM is drawing closer! We are meeting on Sunday, May 11. We will gather from 1:30pm for Mass at 2:00pm and following this, our AGM. So put the date in your diary now. It will be the Oblate House of Retreat in Inchicore, Dublin. The LUAS at Blackhorse is the nearst stop (Red Line) and the bus stop opposite is for the number 13 bus.
We look forward to meeting as many of you as can make it! It is a great opportunity catch up with friends.
Edward (“Eddie”) Roche, RIP
On the feast of St Bernadette, we learned of the sad death that morning of one of our great friends from the Irish Hospitalité and of the Waterford & Lismore pilgrimage, Eddie Roche. Eddie died suddenly and unexpectedly in Lourdes on the morning of Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Eddie was familiar with many who passed through Lourdes Airport as he was a constant member of the HNDL Airport teams. And when not serving at the Airport, you would find Eddie in service on the Plateau of the Piscines / Baths. Eddie was well known by so many and will be sadly missed, especially by his very close friend, Mary. The death notice on RIP.ie can be viewed by clicking the link: Eddie Roche – RIP
We send our prayers, and sympathy at this time to Eddie’s family and to Mary, as they come to terms with this sudden loss. May his good soul rest in peace. Eddie, you have finished your service, it was time to go home. RIP
